River Lane Bed & Breakfast is just a ten minute stroll from the Mudgee town centre, in a quiet, leafy setting alongside the Cudgegong River.

The town’s restaurants, hotels, cafes and shops are all within easy walking distance and Mudgee’s famous vineyards and olive groves are not far away.

Two couples can be accommodated in River Lane’s garden suites (in queen size beds) and another two guests in a self-contained suite with private entrance in the main house – a charming 90-year old country home.  This suite can be made up in a twin or king bed format.

Each suite has an ensuite, refrigerator, reverse cycle air conditioning, ceiling fan, an LCD TV, tea and coffee making facilities, books, magazines, a DVD player and even a selection of DVDs.

A continental breakfast basket is delivered daily.

Guests can enjoy the saltwater swimming pool in summer; amble through the delightful gardens which are home to an abundant species of birds; or stroll down and picnic on the leafy riverbank.

Black and Maned Ducks, Snake-necked Darters and Dusky Moorhens live down by the river.  

Platypus have been sighted early in the morning while the resident Snake-necked Turtles and native Water Rat make regular appearances.
